This game trying to kill my PC?

I hjave a relatively high end pc. But seemingly at random points in the game my screen goes black, sound cuts off, and nothing works until i force my computer to shut down. My drivers are up to date...
Anyone else get this? Its never happened in any other game before

The game has not been optimised well for pc it seems 🙄

not being optimized is one thing. literally shutting down my pc whenever it pleases is a whole different beast lol

It overheated my laptop at one point until I went into my external graphic settings and put everything on low other than the shader textures and such. After that it runs smooth and not to hot. If youre willing to sacrifice some graphics it's worth playing on lower settings

whats crazy, game doesnt look THAT great, but uses about 18gb RAM lol near 20gb sometimes once you play for about 2 hours or so.

it happen to me too, it was ok in the first and second day.. after that when i loggin the game cpu and memory usage become 100% i dont think i can play this game anymore.

Have same problem with Ryzen 5800x3d + RTX 4080... Someone already fixed it or we need to wait for new update? My games is nonplayable. non reason crashes

This game has a massive memory leak, if you dont close it and restart every couple hours all kinds of random ♥♥♥♥ can happen.

It's funny how like every UE MMO ever has memory leaks or causes other issues.
Like, God of War Ragnarok on 4k and Ultra Settings takes less CPU power on my end than TL on 1080p and High Settings.

You should get that fixed and stop blaming video games for hardware issues.

Memory leaks, for me it was RAM that shutdown the PC. Try update your windows to 11 if you dont have. It has not droped once since i update from 10 to 11 :)

lowering my settings seems to have fixed it but thats just a band aid to a bigger problem. also noticed every time i screen share on discord, the entire game disconnects until i stop streaming

My monster rig that I've been upgrading from scratch for literally decades now but I haven't updated with new devices for over 5 years plays this game like a champ. The graphics are like butter. I get no stuttering, no bugs, not crashing...
If anyone plays with less than a 1070 for a gpu and a 6 year old i7, et cetera but are still somehow feeling like it's the game's fault even though my rig plays it well then you are a self-entitled, self-unaware ludite or just plain stupid. The game is seriously optimized for PCs well and my experience on a PC is def better than any monkey console players experience.
If the game doesn't run for you it's because you don't know how to manage a PC. Go back to class or go back to work and do something you can wrap your mind around instead. These public expressions of ignorance on display is SO commonplace these days it's like we're living a nightmare anymore.
