Epics from bosses
i killed a world boss and apparently got an epic but its now up for auction in my guild using premium currency. i guess this is automatic and obviously i would not have put it up for auction since i need it. after the auction expires, it goes to the guild leader. am i missing something or is this an awful loot system and i should leave guild and never join one again?

Better make your own guild this is just BS!

the guild leader could also send you the item. he could also adjust those settings that you have 5 minutes yourself to claim the item, and then it goes to the guild or its members.

its just a bad setting that it goes to the guild automatically.

Check their drop settings. Talk to the leader before joining, you need to know exactly where you are getting yourself into. Why? heres the three settings for drops:

1-No guild sharing. Dropped something? Good! its yours. Its in your inventory, enjoy it.

2-5 minutes to claim: You drop something, it goes to guild chest and it will show everything people dropped. You have 5 minutes to find your stuff in that menu, and click "i want this". it belong to the guild after that point. Naturally, its up to guild officers and leaders to decide what to do with it, they could put up to auction or even give it to you, but you get the idea.

3- Shared with the guild (this can be filtered by rarity aswell) You drop something, it goes to guild chest. Only officers and leader can interact with said item, and send it to people. As you may suspect, unless your guild is disciplined and everyone is in accord to this, it may lead to a popularity contest situation, if not blatant scamming of unsuspecting users. This is the main reason for asking what type of drop settings a guild has, before joining

The cooldown for joining/creating a guild after you leave is 36h, so you definitely don't want to be joining/quitting often.

Yoink, that's sad.

You should have checked the loot assignation system that your guild is using. Auction is just one of the types, there is also one that every member keeps their own loot.

Guilds in this game are awful to be honest. It's like a vacuum that never stops.
I would advise to get together with a few friends and make one yourself. DO NOT invite randos, and do not join randos either. If you do, all you are is a farming ant for them. :er_sad:

Like this dude said, I made a small guild just for me and my buddies so we can help each other with loot and not worry about a random guild stealing all of our loot.

Is this why now we have 500 guilds with 8-10 members max.
