CPU 100 GPU 0?

Hey guys. Today I started TL for the first time since the beta and tried to play, but I had the same issues as in the beta. The sound stutters and cuts out, NPCs appear very late, and I can't interact with them. Everything takes a long time and lags. Since my brother also plays the game, I assumed the issue was with my PC and opened the Task Manager. It took a long time to open, and I noticed that the CPU is constantly running at 100% (which is fine), but the GPU doesn't seem to be working at all. Is this normal? It's the same for my brother. However, since my CPU is a bit older, the game is unplayable.

Does anyone know this issue?

That definitely sounds like your gpu is not running right and the PC swapped to onboard. Did you try rebooting? Also what cpu you running?

That only appears when I play TL.

CPU is Intel i5-7600K overclocked to 4.6 GHz
GPU is Nvidia GTX 1080
