At least you can get into the game... I can't even do that, haha. I'm just stuck in Steam with the play button, and at some point, it said I was playing, but I didn't have the game running. xD I just tried something, but it still doesn't work :/"

The error message you're encountering in Throne and Liberty, which mentions an "untrusted system file" related to PhysXUpdateLoader64.dll, typically indicates that the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) system is flagging this file as suspicious. This can happen even if you don't have an NVIDIA graphics card, as some games may still reference NVIDIA's PhysX software. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Repair Easy Anti-Cheat:
Navigate to the game installation directory. This is usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Throne and Liberty\EasyAntiCheat.
Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe as an administrator and select the option to "Repair Service"(
Steam Community
)(
Computer Verge
).
Remove the Problematic DLL:
Move PhysXUpdateLoader64.dll to another location, like your desktop. Restart your PC and then try launching the game again. Sometimes, EAC may flag this file erroneously(
Steam Community
).
Update or Reinstall Gaming Services:
If the above steps don’t work, you may want to remove and reinstall the Gaming Services application. Open Windows PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands:
powershell
Copiar código
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
After reinstalling, check if the issue persists(
Computer Verge
).
Check for Other Conflicting Software:
Sometimes, other software like overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience) can interfere with EAC. Try disabling any such applications and then running the game again(
Steam Community
).
Verify Game Files:
If you're using a platform like Steam, right-click on the game in your library, select "Properties," go to the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files." This can help fix any corrupted files that might be causing issues(
Steam Community
)(
Computer Verge
).
If the problem continues after trying these steps, consider checking forums for additional solutions or reporting the issue to the game’s support team for further assistance.
That was the problem for me, just shut it down (MSI Afretburner first, otherwise Riva tuner service will be auto-restared) and it should start.
Kinda sad, that I cant monitor my FPS during playtime, but I can understand easy cheat disliking it....
Have tried a few things
- remove and reinstall
- remove and manually clean out all TL files from App Data and Steam common
- update drivers
- checked the log it writes and nothing jumps out as an issue no error noted that I saw
Just shows me the space whale and just sits there doing nothing
