DPS meters breed contempt for anyone who is deemed to be not pulling their weight, regardless of how good they are actually doing. Every MMO that has allowed a DPS meter has seen the community grow more and more toxic over time.
Theorycrafters don't require a DPS meter anyway. They're smart enough to know how to test things without seeing a little bar grow in a box on the screen.
It is true. It was helpful in lost ark and would be helpful here.
FF14 has meters though
Not officially, those are 3rd party and not fully allowed, just accepted as a grey zone. Could change at any time.
I mean go ahead and program one for TL then.
TLTR: DPS meters are not allowed by the TOS and will never happen.
add DPS meter and an option to hide your dps for others
or just add a personal DPS meter
I just want to see my damage and improve my skills rotation...
