Best Solo PvE class?

Been playing dagger/xbow but i dont feel like i survive well and horrible AOE. Anyone have better recommendations for soloing?

I haven't died yet (Am level 21 atm) and I play as a staff/wand even though I haven't touched/used the wand yet, but it's nice that you could switch if needed. Also what you could do is pump more points into strength. It ups dmg, melee defense and it gives you hp :)

I use Staff/Daggers and have a really fun time with it. Can move in on enemies quickly, poison them and give them a few stabs and by the time they turn around, I've already cast my ice wall and teleported away to begin bombarding everything with FIRE.

i do staff wand as well i was going for 30 dexterity and the rest on wisdom for healing. doesn't the heals scale off wisdom? should i not go that route? i wanted to be a healer that can dps

You want to use the Crossbow and use dagger utility. It's the highest DPS combination. Just make sure you get melee evasion and you'll be good.

But I'll go more in depths. Most combination can work, but some shine out better. Sword&Shield+wand / Crossbow+Bow / Staff+Dagger are S tiers in my opinion.
Crossbow+Dagger / Sword&Shield+Greatsword / Greatsword+Dagger are pretty much A tiers.
Staff+Bow for group content / AoE heavy is bottom A Top B. That build also work well for large scale PvP if want to back up your front line.

The rest is not invalidated, but it's just not as "optimal".

Meta needs to go at first (My opinion) I went with Strength and Wisdom. Str to boost the defense and hp a bit and wisdom for the rest. So far I haven't ran out of Mana yet as most beginning skills seem that are more towards cooldown spells then using mana or the mana cost is just that low.

For solo content Paladin greatsword plus wand. You deal great amount of dps mixing weaknes curses and dps dots together with greatsword skills, Most of the time u actually one hit allmost every enemy with your charged attack, Choosing the right gear makes u tanky aswell. I can even tank the dungeon bosses easily on lvl 50 with greatsword . Its absolutely a force to reckon with in group pvp aswell , Stun or sleep and onehit most players fun as ♥♥♥.

Yes it is! You can do most of the content including open dungeons solo if you gear out correctly! Any class combo really. There are no true "weak" combos in this game.

No. There is no point in playing the game solo if you lock yourself out of the most content. The whole game and content is made for guilds.
