Try to understand Lithographs

ok so here is my dilemma when looking at epic gear to craft say for instance the Shock commander set you need the Lithograph for it but the only way i've noticed you can actually get the lithographs for items is by deconstructing the said item as an already made piece into the Lithograph window. so what is the point of crafting? Am I missing something?

The point of crafting with a Lithograph is to trade essentially. There is no player to player trading really, so if you get a drop you dont need, you can turn it into a Lithograph (aka Recipe) then sell it on the AH (Since you cant just trade directly with someone).

Once you buy the Lithograph you can craft the item for yourself using your own resources. Very few items can be bought directly without being made into a Lithograph first.

wow its just the same money milking system they had in lost ark, no player trading , everything has to go through auction house but u need currency to buy from auction house wich you can only get with realife money hahaha what a nice way to milk people, and now guys i tell u a buisness secret... do you realy think they cant get rid of the bots? ... in the year 2024...? guys those bots and chinafarmers are kept intentionally so they can have a reason to run this auction house scam system... they say we cant do player to player trading couse of goldsellers so here guys use the auction house and pay us real life money for that. dont be stupid and support those "people" and ofc thanks amazon for the 3 year delay. you used your time wisly and made great adjustments for the western market. damn i cant even hold my laugh in couse you guys know its true
