Damn.
They thrive on upsetting people, its the only thing that brings them pleasure.
Join a guild, find chill people and only run dungeons with them as this game has the worst pug's i've ever seen.
Literally worse than DOTA and LOL combined.
i'm so tired of these action MMOss shoehorning terrible tank and healer mechanics into the game so they can pretend to be a MMORPG.
having a 30 second provoke and some cooldowns that lower damage taken aren't worth hitting like a wet noodle for 100 hours of solo content. Enemies in the overworlds of games like this never do any damage, so defence is a hindrance. combine that with how apparently time consuming it is to change your weapon specs later on, you're really forced to stick to your tank/healer weapon the whole time.
this game is pretty bad anyway. i'd rather play New World for 2000 hours. Granted, New world was amazing until about level 25 and you realized there was nothing else to the game. (maybe it's better now, but that ship has sailed.)
I don't think the game is bad nor that the healer and tank mechanics are shoehorned in, i just don't think what people expect it to be lines up with what it actually is, the healer for example, isn't so much a healer (that is, someone who's primary goal i keeping the group alive) it's a support. You are not supposed to be the one keeping people from dying, that falls on people themselves to dodge and block avoidable damage and you as a support buff people and keep them topped up so that when they do fail they don't get one shot, or that the tank doesn't die to chip damage.
Compared to wow, the "healer" role here deals alot more damage in relation to how much healing it does. I guess the same is true for the tank role here, all roles are much more DPS mixed with support, rather than having pure dps/pure tank/pure healer.
However i can understand if it's not for everyone, but i do think it works as long as people treat it the way it's designed to be. That said, i do agree that the tank and healer choices of weapons and skills, there is not much variation or choice to be made.
