Crashes during Loading splash screens, first "Enter game" screen, character select screen. Can never get far enough to load into the actual game.
Was playing fine all yesterday.
Just reporting that I also have the same issue. The more people who chime in the more visible it is.
Can you please look in your error logs?
I could solve the problem by uninstall Oculus client.
The Problem was, that the game trys to start an extension for virtual reality.
This doesnt work....

I had no issues yesterday. Today several people are getting Unreal Engine crashes.
Yesterday ran fine for me. didn't have a single hickup.
Today after I start up the computer, all I get is the Unreal Engine crash on a.
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900F

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4090
Doens't matter if I set everything to low and disable full screenscreen optimizations and run it in widow mode etc. Nothing sseems to be fixing it.
If I run it with a -dx11 in the startup setting in Steam. I can usually get to the title screen and access the graphic settings. But nothing helps.
Trying a full re-install with new download to see if it helps. Otherwise I'll try and get my Silverpack money back and just play something else.
This worked, sort of. I managed to play all evening with no problem. Then turned off the computer and today when I try to launch the game the same problem occurs again.
I have tried reinstalling graphic drivers, turn off XMP in Bios, followed like 5 youtube videos on how to solve this specific issue with the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Unreal Engine Crash.
I was starting to believe the Intel Gen 13 and 14 issue was the problem here. But Ryzen users are reporting the same problem. ?? Hope it's fixable.
Still having issues, I managed to get into the game so left computer on for two days logged into the game so I could play. But now I'm back to having the issues again.
I just got a reply from Amazon support assuring me that they are working on a fix for this launch issue. So fingers crossed.
I was having full pc force restarts until I got into bios and set the CPU voltage -200 but this likely wasnt related to the unreal crashing. Once I got this issue resolved the game would run on lowest settings with DSR 380x2160 4k
Ive had seemingly consistent game crashes regardless if xmp is on or off. Some crashes is jut the game freezing then displaying the unreal crash report window while other times the game freezes and freezes the pc without displaying the urneal error reporting that is only resolved with shutting the pc off then turn back on. It seems like something with the development code or something internal. If this is happening to multiple configurations of hardware and setting. The developers need concise report to understand what might be causing the freezes or crashes. I have witnessed the game crashing or freezing more during cut scene like at the start of some missions in Throne a purple glow surrounds the player as theyre teleported to the next mission which would be the bulk of the freezes or crashes.
Updated our drivers, verify integrity files, uninstall/reinstall game, but it's still crashing.
Unhanded Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xfffffffffffffff
