Game not using GPU

Anyone know why the game is only using like 2% of my 1070 ti? updated drivers and not helping.

The game is very VERY graphics card heavy... Not sure why from what I saw... feels WAY too floaty for me. Will pass.

goto the the nvidia control panel and set it too max performance but try do it for throne and liberty it should force it too 100% and fix things. you do not really need it at 100% all the time. well maybe you do but i suggest you do not

managed to get the throne and liberty 3d settings up but im unsure which ones I should change sorry.

Mine is recommended epic settings and is still not using 100% of my gpu. My girlfriends pc is the same exact build as mine and hers was recommended medium and is having the same issue gpu wise. We are both running 6700xt on a ryzen 5 5600x

The last hotfix borked something with usage. I was 95-100% usage prior to the 2 maints that happened this week. Now its not going over 25% and im stuttering.

Same. I have RX 6800m and sometimes i have 60-70% of GPU usage with 90+ FPS and almost all the time it`s like 10-30% gpu usage with 30-50 fps. DOn`t know what to do... Have no sense to play the game with that performance...

Interestingly enough the same thing happened back when I was playing New World (Also Amazon) there was a patch that kept the video card from running at max most of the time like all other graphically intensive games do. It took about 6 month before it was every fix unfortunately, so hopefully here they figure it out pretty quickly. Definitely a game engine bug, nothing to do with your hardware or drivers.
The stuttering is pretty terrible to be honest as I just logged in after a patch...

yea its sounding like the issue, its weird cos when i tab out of the game it goes into the 20% but when im ig its 2% XD. lets hope its soon lol.

This game is using too much CPU if you ask me. Only game that makes my cpu go to almost 78C which is kind of high not alarming but all other games are fine. I think this game doesn't use the gpu enough.

yea def agreed, i can feel the heat coming from my pc and considering thats NOT using my gpu thats pretty bad. uses 40-50% of my cpu.

My gpu was used 0-1% too , so I figured it's not using it at all. Wich was the case.
I disabled Direct X 12 in the graphic settings of the game and my GPU started running and lowered my CPU load from 90 to 65-70%. Just saying ~~
