If people want to play a p2w grinder do and lost ark are just the best options.
There is another mmo that I like pretty much everything about, and I REALLY, really wish I could play it. I've tried a million times. In my copium I even have every damn expansion despite not actually playing it. It's ESO. But its combat is so trash, that I will NEVER be able to. I log in and I check out in a few hours at most. My brain just shrivels up when I have to do that mindless button spam.
It's the same here. Except I don't really like the rest of the game that much either. Because it's generic and boring. It's certainly not Lineage. Lineage actually had some soul, you could see it in character designs, mob designs, the OST, the meticulously crafted animations that were incredible looking for its time... And this is just... Korean MMO number 1057 that rips everything off their "competition," except for actually cool stuff they maybe should have ripped off.
But 7.5 million people are currently subscribed to WoW and WoW is p2w also? Care to explain?
That's they direction NCSoft took Aion once they shifted from a monthly sub to F2P. You could play the game as it normally was designed, but doing upgrades and unlocking most chest rewards required you to pay for special items to use for upgrading % chance on items and keys to unlock these chests.
The over monetization in the game as it was phased out of sub to F2P was gross and I stopped playing it after that.
After reading up on some of the pay aspect of this game I think I'll just mostly avoid it. Doesn't sound like I'll be missing much.
Staying power and brand recognition are obviously concepts you dont understand exist.

console is not even worth considering t he numbers are really low as usual and are not even usable to determine anything other than the expected outcome.
every talked about console for concord. the game sold best on pc...let that sink in.
