-_- And I mean they obliterate. Like one person basically wins the 3v3 for them. Seen in many times.
correct.
also correct in any PVP game ranged will always have the first strike unless you can sneak up on them or stealth or have some form of evade/block
you will also need some form of teleport or something to get to them then you need cc or something to stop them running away and kiting you when you do get to them.
meanwhile range don't have to do all that simply point and shoot
what kind of great sword user are you?
Me? I'm an Outrider and i have NO problem taking down a mage because they can't escape my 4 + charges and movement speed increasing abilities.
As for mages, or any ranged for that matter, it's incredibly easy mode to just kite. Even with blues you probably won't have much if any magic endurance or evasion so they have free reign. It is rather absurd. Not to mention all the PVE events where you tag mobs anybody ranged has a huge advantage on melee.
What's your second weapon? Dagger?
Just saying "Greatsword User" or "Staff User" is meaningless. Your build is 2 weapons.
Staff/Bow - The consensus is terrible at small scale pvp, great at large scale.
Staff/Dagger - Great at small scale good at large scale.
These are entirely different builds.
Greatsword/Dagger is great at small scale PvP.
