how close is this to lineage 2?

i am STARVING so bad for a game like lineage 2.. i really, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miss it. is this anything like it? i see people complaining its p2w.. sounds like ncsoft alright lol.

any modern mmorpgs out there similar to lineage 2? i really need to get back into a game like that. TESO doesnt hit the itch at all.. feels like it shouldnt be an mmorpg at all

The playerbase devision over the game that is not available yet, should tell you to wait until tomorrow. Buying into early access will make you invested and can skew your perception.

I am on the verge my self, but logically I understand that buying it right now will not make a return on investment on the long run. Also every Korean player I've watched says the same thing, instead of buying packs, buy in-game currency after release. The will be better cosmetics and titles are useless because the game will be dead long before the time when you can showcase your title like "Yea, I was here since the dawn of the game".
