Good lord how badly the game is optimised.. 20fps in town with RTX4080,with frame gen and DLSS on.. And can't even refund >.<

a gpu doesnt generate frames. game is cpu heavy because it has to calculate likes 500 players real time.

Sounds like a you problem, on a 4060 and its buttery smooth even in towns and cities

Sounds like you might have a serious CPU bottleneck. I got better performance than that in the beta with a i3 8350K and a 3080 and that was also a CPU bottleneck situation (I've since upgraded my CPU). Only dipped to like 50fps in towns and I didn't use DLSS.

50 FPS on a 1060 w medium settings, full 60 FPS on a 4070 with all on max.
In acutal games you need a good CPU, enough fast RAM and a SSD, M2 best.

Town FPS is dependent on your CPU, not GPU. When you have 50+ players running around, it's gonna be CPU-limited. With that said, I'm getting very good performance on my i5-13600k in towns with 50+ players, couldn't be more happy with the optimization. Your CPU is prolly old or just not very good.

I had fps issues as well, terrible in towns like 20-30 fps and 40-50 in world . Nothing changed my fps no matter what I tweaked in the settings. Eventually, I just put it on the recommended settings(Epic) in my case and it got fixed somehow. I only disabled motion blur and all the staff from the first page(FSR) and it runs constant 60 fps now with vertical sync in Borderless. I have Radeon RX 7900XT, 32gb of ram and ryzen 5 7600X. Hope that helps.

So, everyone that has posted can run this game perfectly fine. I'd never dropped 120fps
