throne and liberty Account authorization error(1012) cant any player help me

i have the same problem since day 1, i am already writing with the amazon games support but they cant rly help, and they say they cant give me a compensation.

I FOUND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. I can play again!
so if u want to play and u have this error, close the game, open the game files. go to "start save game" right click it, deaktive the Compability mode for windows 8 AND the "open game as adminstrator button!!!!
After it i was able to play again!

where do you find "start save game" , i looked everywhere in the folder ... , i bought the game yesterday and after i pressed Play , it doesn't even let me in the game , after begining cutsceans i get the 1012 error...

They mean start_protected_game. it's the exe the game uses to boot up the game along with Easy Anti Cheat

Solution that worked for me. Go to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Throne and Liberty\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty" and then rename OpenXR folder to OpenXRback.

THANK YOU! I struggled with this error for days and never considered going into the .exe file's settings. Once I did that the game loaded just fine :)

If you're using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it. If this doesn't fix the problem, go to your router settings and turn on UPnP and then restart the router and Steam. This problem is caused by your internet settings.

Im not using a VPN at all. UPnP is already on and have tried both off and on.
