Are Alt characters important in this game? How do classes work?

I noticed that we only get 2 character slots. How important is having alt characters in this game? How do classes work? Can one character play every class or if you want to play multiple classes do you need multiple characters?

Whole purpose of alts is hard work for get items and sell your items to whales for obtain lucents.

They will eventually have a roadmap to benefit from alt rotation.

If you play a crossbow and sword and shield build and you tackle the endgame and all of the sudden you see your chice sucked and your build is crap you are faster making an alt from 0 to hero instead of rerolling all the gear and level new weapons. That's what Alts are good for. If you bring to alts into the endgame you might be able to funnel items on your main char but I'm not sure about that.

You have certain resources that will run out, that you need to make good equipment.
Traits, Trait Resonance and Train Unlock stones. <-- p2w.
Some game systems were made worse so that they could inject Lucent mechanics.

You cannot make multiple class sets on 1 character unless you spend alot of real money.
It's estimated at $2000 a month, minimum.
Some people are insecure enough to pay to need that and NCsoft will take your money because that's the only reason they make games.

ALTS are not needed but are forced onto you with how it's designed.. purposely designed with limitations.. where upgrading your gear has an RNG element.. even with Merchants having a daily limit or Dungeons having a currency to use, you eventually run out and need to wait for tomorrow for the currency to Regen.
The whole system is designed for Bots.. that's how NCsoft view you.. like ants.

+ Twitch Drops, 12hours of watching twitch to get table scraps like a dog.
There is a Discord setup that is all about laughing at the people who paid for a free game.
There are screenshots of people from the steam discussion crying about Scam, Refunds or defending the Developers saying stuff like "i wanted to support the billion dollar company that exploits me".

NCsoft made a flawed game with dumb limitations and P2W that did horribly at home so they are trying to sell it to ENGLISH people to find the morons that will buy a F2P game, that's their crowd morons that will buy anything and cry SCAM because they dont get to play with F2P so they don't feel less scummy while playing with the F2P peasants.

Should you use only one character for all of the classes?
