Blue screen crashing my PC

I was able to play shortly after release for about an hour, and then the game crashed to desktop. Ever since, every time I try to launch the game from screen it crashes my entire PC and I have to do a full restart. Anyone else running into this? Did you find a fix?

As far as the OS, it's never given me any issues in the past. All of this seems unique to Throne and Liberty. I agree that EAC shouldn't be BSODing my system but, if you look it up, at definitely isn't uncommon.

I FOUND A SOLUTION!!! (For myself at least). I entirely uninstalled UltraAV (new Antivirus-thx Kaspersky...) and I was able to launch no issues. Pausing protection / whitelisting didn't do anything for EAC, but fully removing the antivirus worked wonders.

Not sure if it will work for you as well, but I wanted to share an update. :)

That's awesome!! Consider me jealous -- Antivirus was the first thing I tried, but no luck for me. Enjoy the game!!

its not the game thats making you bluescreen, might wanna de-dust ya pc :)

get hwinfo, watch ur temps while ur launch the game and start playing, it could be thermal throttling, i had the 13900k and it sadly degraded overtime ( i got it when it first released ) loads of games like fifa, battlefield, cs2 and some others would all just crash my pc, i changed my cpu and have been fine since, also made sure all my bios was updated to use the new tweaks they did that was causing those issues, there is also things in ur bios you can change to stop the thermal thottling, lowering ghz, undervolting, enabling CEP

same, launch day played for about 6 hours, game ran smooth even on max graphics settings then turned it off to go to work came back and now anytime I try and launch the game. Blue screen crash and I play plenty of other games so its not my computer

I love how everyone posts about this but never shares the bsod error code or simply Google the error they are getting and fixing it

im not even getting an error code, my bsod ends up bsoding

I get a crash with no error. Game just closes. Event view shows this but I have zero idea what this means and the internet is useless
