Easy-Anti Cheat

Just booted up the game and when i try to enter a server it gives me "Kicked Reason: Easy-Anti Cheat(47)" Is anyone else getting this problem?

It's your fault. Easy Anti Cheat isn't new, it's not the games fault. Easy Anti-Cheat is detecting something from your PC.

i keep getting this and have never used cheats only thing in my background is twitch discord and my college classes

Same for me, im on linux so was guessing that is the issue , the last warhammer 40k SM2 update did the same thing, made it so linux and steamdeck users cant play, at least ive only spent 60 on this game, spent 90 on SM2

Read this from a discord comment. Tried adding to the Throne and Liberty launch options and it didn't work. Going to try and add it to EAC install.

"On Linux I ran the anticheat setup with the launch options install 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c with proton experimental and I no longer get the EAC error, in case anyone wanted to try and replicate"

In Steam, search: Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime
Right click it and hit "Properties" ( Or Gear button -> "Properties" on steamdeck)
In the general tab, paste the following into "Launch Options" text box: install 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c

Worst thing the games have this days... EAC... completely useless while at the same time doing way worse to your system & game.

The problem occurs when you are in a loading phase and the server crashes.
It’s not related to Easy Anti-Cheat.

You beat me to it!

I went a different route but when I started up EAC in a lutris prefix I did notice it was still trying to use the old ProductID. Ran the exe with the install flags as you mentioned above in that prefix through lutris and now in game.

Good find, just wish I was a bit sooner. Enjoy the points ;)

The EAC error was 100% an EAC error. The EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe was still looking for 95e760e6a6a447c28dc50db3e78d060f build even though the supporting files were telling it to look for the new 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c build.

By running with the " install 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c " flags it tells it to install that version instead.

Got right into the game once that was resolved.

Are you sure your issue is the same as the rest of the thread?
