found the solution

after you've downloaded it, exit steam completely and load it back up. you should be able to play it

if exiting steam completely does not work, nor verifying the installation... i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and then clicked on the refresh button for the game in the downloads page and it started to unpck for me!

not for me, started steam around 10 times or so. seems a problem with amazon. it works for you and u brought from amazon?
