Dagger/Wand

I would like to ask if playing with the dagger/wand build makes sense. I would like to be able to heal but also be able to play open world and farm solo. Does this build have the right to be a useful healer for the team?

I recently switched from poison to thunderclouds for solo leveling in the open world just to speed things up; stacking two different DoTs was effective, but slow. I was also disappointed that the ticks of poison damage didn't trigger the healing from vampiric contract.
