How do solo players or small guilds fight larger guilds?

There is a clear domination of the larger guilds in the game. They just play like Zerg

There is little point in participating in any significant events. Because any solo player or a small group is taken out by already entrenched large guilds. I would understand such mechanics of the game, if there were other opportunities to farm good equipment and uniforms and other things. But almost all the serious and important stuff is dropped at just such events.

It turns out for solo players and small groups and guilds have no opportunity to develop.

Sounds like a PVP'r issue, as a solo PVE purest I do not deal with it at all.

I am not precisely sure what is hindering your development I've spent no money on the game and do not even play daily, I'm sitting at a 2321 gear score. . .

Must be an operator problem.

you dont do pvp against those players without the expectation of losing terribly. period. lotsa pve stuff to do regardless. slowly catch up to the paying clowns.
