Its a bold business model, expecting players to keep the economy alive and quickly decaying to increasily higher suppply while at the same time demand is bound to diminish. It feels short sighted, and the current success shouldn't be priority at all
If anyone expects to stay long term, its very important to sell as many things as you can while they are in demand and theres plenty of lucent being spent. This will not be the case in a couple of weeks. Sell and hold
The issue is not the market as long as people buy lucent everything is okay, the issue are taxes, which makes lucent slowly dissapear which means you need more people to buy lucent.
The market itself works perfectly fine i|m F2P and I have bought everything i wanted from the shop and have 12k lucent atm, just by farming items, selling traits, recrafting items or selling their litographie.
Check this guide I made, it's about the guild coins -> lucent workflow, but you can do so with any blue/purple item:

I've bought the BattlePass with the lucent made this way in-game, and still have like 1k lucent left, it's doable.
