I find it amusing to read the complaints about the game taking to long.
How many hours have you invested on grinding food ingredients so far?
Drop rates need increase.
I don't grind for them. I get them when/if they drop. I don't feel I am missing out on much if anything.
Why? I think this is actually good the way it currently is.
It reminds me of someone who was complaining about the drop rate of salt from crabs.
I have a lot of salt. It did not come from crabs and I did not need to grind for it. You do need to pay attention to the various in game vending options, and you will see how easy it is to get salt without having to grind for it.
It will just come as you play the game and enjoy yourself.
So you have no understanding of the topic. Read more and yap less
I know they drop rarely, as I see them rarely drop when I kill mobs.
Does it bother me? Nope, because again, if I get them I get them and if not oh well.
Salt can come from adventure but thats why not enough for cooking. Many recipes use it and when you try to level it its easily got eated up.
Currently many cooking mats drop chance is to low now even can farm properly a day just to get certain foods properly.
They need to icnrease drop rate or give us something in the amitoi house area to get more materials some way.
Can come, yes. However, every time they have downtime they send you a compensation package that contains a chest with tokens in it.
I forgot now what the exact name is for the tokens, but they are the same tokens you get for finding those purple pages that are spread all over the game world.
And guess what: you can buy a ton of salt with those tokens from the merchant, and with a ton I mean a ton.
So why would you waste your time killing mobs and grinding for salt when you get the tokens to purchase salt for free. And of course purchase more than just salt.
You can also purchase purple pouches with those tokens, and if you have not done so I would highly recommend you purchase them right now as you get good purple drops from them, for free.
Forgot to mention the amitoi expeditions also give you salt, for free. And pouches, although not purple pouches.
Seems like you are a noob in MMORPG's
Half the fun in the better MMORPG's is farming mobs for useful mats and gear.
The free to play games don't give you this because they want you spend in their cash shop instead.
no one is getting dopamine hits from cooking mats. Not today, not in 2004.
I am not getting it. I am literally telling you how to get salt and even purple gear totally free and you want to go "farm" for it instead and blame the cash shop.
Like, really??
Many people enjoy relaxing and farming if you get worthwhile items in return.
Free to play games tend to be more killing mobs to raise a power number because they lack in dept craft mechanisms.
