Wow nice wall of text. Except its all invalid because youre mentioning steam as the representation of my time played as if all those mmorpg I mentioned are standalones and only on steam way after the fact. All of them I play on their original client.
So right here you already proved to me you are not worth my time.
You are also extremely invalid because you are comparing throne at liberty at release and saying wow never runs out of things to do. Compare RELEASE TO RELEASE AND THIS IS NOT TRUE.
But I still will continue to answer your stupidity. You are right I never played elder scrolls more than a few hours. But honestly you are taking one small detail of what im saying and getting into a giant hissy fit because I was trying to make a point with it. I played most of the other mmorpg. Gw2 you are wrong about. Yes you dont get it as drops but you grind and grind for gear to make. You grind so much in gw2..and no some of those end game content are way longer than throne.
Dont EVER tell me to stfu please. Who are you? Who do you think you are? Man you are the living proof that everyone online thinks they can talk however they want. You sound so stupid talking like this to someone who you dont know what they look like.
Imagine your entire post is edited knowing that I can beat the crap out of you. Like you are talking so toxic and down to me. Grow up.
So ill talk about whatever I wanna talk about. Cause honestly you sound like you took my little post about random mmorpg and got so butthurt you made an entire wall about it when thats the irrelevant to the thread. I was actually in context with someone mid convo.
But truly you are such a crybaby because you love all these mmorpg you mentioned and hate throne. So im popping your little fake delusional bubble you live in where your precious mmorpg are perfect..god forbid I talk about them negatively.
IMAGINE MAKING AN ENTIRE WALL OF POST BECAUSE OF ONE OR TWO SENTENCES SOMEONE SAID IN CONTEXT TO SOMEONE ELSE.
You are actually sick in the head.
-The PUG dungeons are raid-like content (in that they require team work), which is bad for PUG play. In addition, some mechanics are unintuitive; meaning you've got to go watch a video to understand it, that's just bad design.
-Open world bosses only drop loot for the whale teams.
-Dailies in any game are bad. They aren't something to be praised. If a daily is required to make a player come back to the game, then there's something seriously wrong there.
-Farming isn't rewarded in T&L. If you don't have one of the energy bars you don't get to really play.
-PvP is objectively bad. Aside from the obvious whaling; visual clarity is bad; targeting players is bugged (tab + auto target doesn't work); CC is not only overbearing, but too easy to apply. These things result in less meaningful skill expression.
-Rest of your points are indeed subjective.
Nah just waiting for unlock stones you get them every week. My main is 2900. I am sure I can get to 3200 if i use all my hard earned lucent that I made in the game. But I am sure I can just wait after T2 price hike.
Of course I paid around $40 for this game and now GS is over 3k.
As a tank, I am fighting on the front lines of pvp bosses, and I think I am fighting them with enough strength.
I can even fight 5 weaker opponents alone and win, this is not p2w, it's just that many people still don't know how to pvp in this game.
This game is not all about PVE, it has a big advantage that you can enjoy PVP very easily.
Everyone says they die in 3 seconds from a two-handed sword, but that's because they still don't even try to understand the pvp system at all.
crys about wall of text
opens the thread with a wall of text

spoiler: it does not exist
show me the "super long dungeons" in gw2 please?
spoiler: "dungeons" are actually called fractals and take 5-15 minutes to complete
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWHW0DQWb18
show me the "super long boring leveling in WoW" please?
spoiler: i can level from 0 to 80 in 10 hours

show me the "super long gear grind in ESO" please?
spoiler: once 160CP, i can get a max gear set in a single day, gearing is horizontal in ESO, just like GW2

It is not only that your Steam shows you never played those games, it is also that everything you say about those games is WRONG.
anyone who actually played those games will instantly see you dont know wtf your talking about, at all.
So again: STFU about games you have ZERO clue about, thanks.
this is still a MMO and its expected from a MMO to be deddicated to it and be able to spend time grinding. thats the whole point of the genre.
the way it is now the game simulates a mobile / daily energy game.
that system ain't bad on its own but it will drive true MMO players away fast and this is a problem since a good MMO needs a high population to excel.
Dungeons are undermined by the daily caps and some of them by the PvP cycle for example.
I'm not saying allow people to just grind purples from dungeons all day but it needs to reward something. Even just to give people some incentive to que for fun and to help others.
The game is too stingy to even allow you to farm green gear without some sort of limiting factor. Whatever fun activity there is you will find a cap on it.
People also call this a PvP game yet the arena is not normalized and you can't really progress your character through it. Meaning you are forced into many hours of PvE grind to get to PvP. That is simply a bad system.
Social systems which are seemingly designed to produce antisocial behavior in the playerbase. One step forward and two steps back on everything.
