Less skill range after patch.

I got 2 healer char on throne and liberty, my main char got karnix and 50 perception and on stats bonus i got more range than the second healer, cause hes equipped with blue and green gear, my second char got the exact range of any healer i know on discord, my main char after patch got range issue, i cannot use swift healing more than 2 m away from me, either for me either for my team. Some solution to fix this? i got even photo to share if somebody got some advice

me too, I literally cant cast a fountain of life 1 feet away from me. I thought I was gaslighting myself but this is getting unplayable, especially in arenas where I can't sleep a person 2 feet away from me.

The same is happening to me. I can't heal or damage if I'm not in 2 meters range and this happens since the patch.

Have you found source of your issue? I started to experience the same and it's pretty much unplayable at this point

Same, my Curse is limited to 5 feet. Breaks my Bow build.

No issues at all with all those skills. The range is still the same.

Check if you have the "auto cast on me when no target is in range" on in your settings.

Which wand are you using? Your skill range is determined by your wand auto range.

Tried unequipping everything and then putting it back on?
While unlikely it's possible the math is janked up and it only updates on equipping.

Just in case: If you're using the Tome of Proximate Remedy (wand), your wand skills are limited to its range of only 7m; all other wands have double that range or more.

Yep, takes some time to get used to it. and sometimes bad people will die cause of it, and to prevent that you'll have to be much more mobile and attentive with your sprints/stamina management. This is also another reason why healing touch cd share is terrible, since you'd be using the extended range of healing touch when suitable, to compensate this negative side of your short range quick heal.

So its a good idea in general to stay away from proximate, despite being very cheap and good cause of the STR bonus
