You need to contact Amazon support and keep telling them (with screenshots) that you cannot purchase Lucent, until they escalate it to a technician. A day or two after that, I was able to buy Lucent again, they never responded back to me.
Tell em you've checked the Steam overlay, you've bought Lucent before, and you linked your Amazon ID already.
I haven't tried again though so who knows if it was actually fixed or it was a fluke.
But this is NOT a Steam error. Once you added money to your account, Steam's part is over.
Steam CS actually just got back to me and said we've updated your account and it fixed the issue. If anyone is having this issue, I would open a ticket with both (cover all the basis). Response time for both Amazon CS and Steam was really good (~5 hours maybe).
This time I made a few purchases, cosmetic items and some Lucent and then got the same windows error code your posting in this thread. I started with Amazon and got rediculous answers.
Made sure Steam Overlay is on while in game.
I cleared my Steam Cache then cleared browzer cache.
Then made sure my Steam Client was up to date.
Made sure my windows was up to date.
Signed out and back into Steam. several times.
Signed out and into PC again both several times.
I had three phone calls to Amazon which were complete waste of time.
I made two tickets to Amazon. One got a robot answer to check Steam Overlay. Another said they would escalate but that was yesterday and no follow up.
Finally after hearing this is a Steam issue. I made a ticket to Steam. After several hours i got a reply that said we have blocked your account from making transactions in that game due to suspicious activity. O;o
Because I made a few purchases. They blocked my account and told me. Try again later but gave no indication how long I am to wait.
So basically Steam is now holding my funds in their system but not allowing me to use it in Throne and Liberty until they decide enough time has passed. I am not sure this is the case for all but that Windows error code is exactly what I have and its blocking my purchases in the game because of Steam policing my spending.
It is pretty crazzy but that is the deal for me. I kinda feel Steam is behind the times. The gaming companies make their money based on micro transactions not subscriptions anymore. So why throttle how many transactions or how much someone wants to spend?
I guess I have no option but to wait until Mom, I mean Steam decides it's Ok to allow me to make purchases in the game again.
Best of luck peeps, That's at least what I have going.
We found some unusual activity on your account and our system has temporarily prevented your account from continuing to purchase items in this game. Please try again at a later time.
