Easy anti cheat bugged after update?

Game just updated and now i'm getting a Launch Error "Please close RWDrv before starting the game"
I've validated files and it's still doing it

Anyone know a fix?

Et moi je cherche toujours et la communauté me traite de cheater quand j'expose mon problème. C'est hallucinant cette histoire. C'est bien un conflit de programmes qui n'a strictement rien à voir avec du cheat.

I encountered the same error today. Found out this is due to LegionFanControl soft. So now I have two options - either forget about Easy Anti-Cheat games, or making my laptop like a hot oven

Can I get banned if I turn off LFC before starting the game and then turn it back on during the game? This sounds like total nonsense from the developers to be honest. Should people turn off the cooling system?

Its not a nonsense at all, this RWDrv.sys driver that LFC uses is abused by Cheat developers and deserve to be blacklisted. Also LFC is not official software or supported by Lenovo at all.

Only by turning the fan speed to maximum can I play normally. I change the thermal paste every six months, and I also clean it constantly. It's not about servicing my device, it's precisely because Lenovo laptops are technically powerful, but no one has written software for them. The problem can be solved not at the level of completely disabling the driver, but by identifying locally and determining the malware. Because the Anti-cheat developers don't want to work, ordinary players suffer!

Have u tried LFC alternative software above? Im using it atm and i have no problems whatsoever, it lacks user interface but does exactly the same thing. Also i don't understand how can laptop reach 100c right after cleaning and repaste. Mine never had this problem ever. Maybe replaced termalpaste is cheap and low quality, only high quality pastes should be used on laptops, like NTH1. Also my laptop is always raised from table when gaming, disabling CPU's turbo boost also helps with temps by losing minor performance.

This [github.com] is what u need to download. Extract to "net8.0" folder, enter it and run "FanControl.exe" as administrator. Black CMD window will open and will need to stay, u can minimize it anytime anyway.

Yes, I use it on my Legion 7 16ACHg6 (Ryzen 9 5900HX with RTX 3080 16GB) and I can say that it is working fine. Also, I have to say that for this laptop, the fan limit is 5800, not 5000 like the author wrote on github.
