Easy anti cheat bugged after update?

Game just updated and now i'm getting a Launch Error "Please close RWDrv before starting the game"
I've validated files and it's still doing it

Anyone know a fix?

you have a program on your PC that interferes with the anti-cheat. GL!
So yes you are the only one.
check your pc for rwdrv.sys and remove it. You might have malware on your pc. but rwdrv.sys isn't malware it's actually something that controls certain things on your pc and because it does that the anti-cheat thinks u are doing something that's not allowed.

Are you using anything that throttles let's say ur pc? or anything that "controls" stuff like fans?

On another note this error can also be caused because you've ran a program in the past that modified something and the system has just detected it now.
If u wanna be better safe than sorry windows has build in reinstallation you might wanna look at

Cant launch the game today (I cant see the whale starting screen), easy anti cheat seems to have problems too. I hope it is linked to servers that arent open yet

If anyone has this problem later, I found my fix.
It was my Legion Fan Control app running in the background.

From what I could gather RWDrv is a "Hacktool" thing used by some programs to look at and change hardware. So you may have some programs for RGB or fan control or whatever else that use that program within them that is now being flagged by Easy AntiCheat. Disable it. No need to uninstall, just disable it before playing this game now.

Yup, I found out it was my Legion Fan Control app. I didn't have to uninstall, I just had to close the program before start.

Might be the same issue i'm having, but I did just get on and the servers are still in maintenance.

Sadly many games have those issues, it's literally often a handfull of players..that's why they aren't fixing it, no joke it could literally just be like 5-10 people that are affected by this and no one has a solution, except deinstalling, reinstalling.

Ah alright. Sometimes even when you close it and it modified lets say configs for your fans the configs might still be "edited" by the program even if you have it closed so you could still get the error when it's closed but i doubt

On the official website the servers are open and when I go to the game it tells me that the server is under maintenance, this game is great!

I posted earlier because I also have the same problem without knowing what it is. I was insulted as a cheater when it is another problem. It is really unfair.

rwdrv.sys is windows core and you will disable/delete this? LOL
