No skill based combat?

Hi this is an Issue I have with most mmorpgs. Click target. Auto Attack. Occasionally press 1, 2 or even if you dare 3. Go to the next target.
How do you feel about the combat in this game? It felt braindead to me but it looked very pretty.

I prefer a skill system like in TaL, than to make a skill system like in Mortal Kombat or Tekken. Up arrow, down, side, side, triangle, square, circle. If I wanted to play fighting games, I would play them, not MMO

I agree. Tab targeting combat is giga boring and doesn't requires skill in the form of reflexes or high APM. All you have to do is know your rotations properly.
But that's true for all non-action combat type mmorpgs (FFXIV, WoW, GW2 etc.).

What keeps me playing is the world and how equipment etc. works. I literally like everything aside from combat in Throne and Liberty, but I can live with it.

Already 50 for a while , luck has nothing to do with it , but uninstall doesnt mean the ownership of the game disappears unles u actualy remove it from ur account.

this game must be some really big trash if people dislike it so much that they remove it from their steam account

played the game from beta, reached the cap on official launch.
just another korean grind fest with absolute trash combat.

Other than the mechanics you find in instanced dungeons, the combat is sadly mainly just based on which gear and skills you have equipped, and how far those are enchanted and leveled up. Actual required player skill in the open world is pretty much as non existent as it gets in any MMO.

I am not the guy who removed it from account. This game was so trash, I had to look for other games to cater to my disappointment. I did some reading in the Lost Ark Community forums and really liked what you posted there in general. We are in a simulation?
