people should not finish it to 100% or it will fail and no rewards will be given.
Dunno why that is but its annoying and some people just dont know.
So keep your eyes open and maybe somehow we need to check if the developers are even aware of this problem and start working on it.

How can they not be aware, this looks like such a major bug.

Also it's not like completing the event gives nothing, it gives a temporary damage buff against undead. Though that's obviously not the sole intended reward...

its possible. I follow most of the youtubers that report new on TL and other MMOs and upcoming patches and bugs, and so far, I have not seen them mentioning this bug or issue.
