Some weapons don't exist due to redundancy. You don't need them. Other weapons exist that service the role and ultimately you're just getting flavor. That's why there's no Axe, in-game or in your list. It doesn't add anything to the game but slightly different abilities and no role difference. Every weapon in game currently has a unique role.
In-game trading promotes people leaving their PCs on all night, a major turn off for many, creates massive lag in towns and full server queues, and serves only to encourage bot farmers more by giving gold value. The auction house centralizes things and you don't even have to go anywhere specific to view it, giving easy access to the pay to win features.
PvE is good, but the current auction house is dull, and there’s not enough variety in gameplay like trading or making in-game money.
