Transmog

I read somewhere that apparently the devs have it on a roadmap that transmog of normal every day items will be able to be transmogrified to somewhere down the road. Does anyone have the source of where that was said? I love the starter set sentinel armour and would pay a good amount of lucifer coins to transmog it.
