Moonlight Desert event question

so what's the deal with the giant worm in moonlight desert. i followed like everyone else but it didn't drop anything. Isn't this supposed to be related with end game content?

That worm is queen bellandir, one of the archbosses. You cannot fight her during this event, that is a separate content. The boss will roam around during the event and occasionally burst out and jump into the sand again, when that happens it will drop 1 (one) shard for the archboss weapon, which can be collected by anyone by interacting with it.


So its 200 people following the boss and trying to spam their interact key on a cloud of dust for 500 lucent, roughly 4 times in 15 minutes. Enjoy!

every time it comes out of the ground and does the big slam there will be an interractable orb on the ground in the middle which drops (forgot what the nane is called) and is used to craft the antidote to queen bellandirs poison

the soul fragment is actually a low chance too, I managed to hit it twice in 1 event and did not get 1, so you have to fight against other people running for it, and an rng chance of actually getting one
