Second Character? - pure frustration?

So i made a second character because i want to have a completely different class/build.

It was bad enough that so much content was locked behind levels for no reason playing the first character.

But now its exactly the same with the second character and lots of unlocks dont even carry over and there is no way to exchange much between characters aswell?

I mean i get some stuff - but battlepass/leveling-pass not? Event items not? Cant transfer items between my own characters or currency? All upgrades to bags have to be bought again?


Feels like they did everything in their power to make an alt character as awful as possible?

I mean some stuff make sense because of the f2p and mt model - but even if you think about that its stil awful since having multiple characters would be more incentive to buy comsmetics etc. but the way they are it feels like its just not worth it at all since its made so tedious?

It's a P2W Korean game, this is by design so you pay for content which can help boost you up fast. Their standards for this kind of thing are not the same as most Western games.

Yes, you can earn stuff through playtime but the reality is that if it's literally more cost-efficient to work a job and buy it, then it's P2W.

But even if thats true- which it probably is. Why would they lock out the second character out of the AH etc. - somehow this doesnt make sense in that context.

thats the point, they didn't make alt characters at all. Its a brand new account, the exception is skins and thats probably for a good reason. You are not intended to play more than one character, even though its highly benefitial.

wtf ..... at some games you unlock the chat, auctionhouse and more at higher level, because of bots. if developers wont do something against bots, everybody complain. but if they do, people also complain. no matter what you do, people will always complain

Yeah makes sense in many games but not in regards to a second character on the same account that already did the unlocks. And it wouldn't even make sense to create an alt character for chatspam.

It gets even worse:

- Ornate Coins seem to be per account and not per character
- Ornate Coin unlcoks are per character

That combined with Passes beeing per character etc. seriously makes it seem as the most reasonable thing would be to make a second account since at least its a bit better with mostly the same problems ...

Also - selling skins at such high prices and then selling the items required to change colours etc. at extremely high prices is really absurd.

Especially since if you dont use those skins and simply go for the best stats for your build chances are you will look like a clown.

There are so many nice skins in the game - and to be honest most normal gear looks better than all that weird cosmetic gear - yet its completely pointless since every skin has fixed stats that only make it viable for certain builds.

worth noting that ornate coin mails are per region, so each mail is distributed once per region. One more reason to make your alt on a different region
