decided to try out this game, keeps crashing at every start i try

Is it giving you any sort of error popup? I experienced this once when the game was crashed due to the cheat engine (only ONCE though so I feel like I got lucky w/out having to fix anything lol) but the SECOND crash was a different type and would happen every time I tried to click "Start Game" after I'd gotten through designing the character look.

Again, seemed to get really lucky because the solution for my error/crash was just exiting fully out of steam. Restarting Steam. Starting up the game again. Had no issues after that.

Whatever the case is with you, good luck! (It seems by the discussion threads being posted you're definitely not the only one experiencing this. :( )
