Is lag getting worse and worse?

It was perfectly fine for like 2 weeks, and then 4-5 days ago it went to ♥♥♥♥. Now it's almost unplayable. I know it's not only my issue, cause I've been in a few parties were almost everyone was lagging, but I don't know how widespread it is.

always been terrible, no servers where I live.. somehow there is some real illiterate people on Amazon thinking "Japan" is part of Oceania - they can't tell what is Asia and what is Oce, and 200 ms it's just unplayable.

Im at 50ms latency, 40mbs connection.. The game is completely unplayable. Im trying to fight Berge at the moment.

Anyone else using an Arc gpu? I'm running a A750 wondering if something was changed.

I've never had any issues in the past.

Yes Lag is horrible - my game crashed 10 times in the last 5 hours - and I have top PC (4090 rtx). At first i Thought the issue with PC, reinstalled drivers, scanned disk , ran system check (SFC and DISM scans), removed the game, removed the cached files (from win user's profile) even ran game with compatibility but the issue remains. It started with the latest patch - I hope dev's will fix it.

The "lag" playing from OCE to Japan means reacting to boss fight mechanics is more about luck than timing. Even having your rotations fire off consistently can be a problem, and this is with ExitLag, so there is more ore going on here with TOL server performance than just latency and ping.

Updating graphics drivers did not help me at all. The game is seriously glitchy af now. Whatever they did I wish they would revert it back cause this is unplayable for a lot of people.

Everyone I know is experiencing lag, today i've been experiencing it really bad, from rubberbanding, flight not triggering or cancelling out of nowhere, menus not working (buttons taking 2-6 seconds to react), teleport screen lock fore more than 10 seconds (yesterday I could load in a second for example), like right now i can't even go do contracts, fishing, w/e.

Edit: I don't know if this helped me or the lag spikes stopped, but I lowered the amount of players loaded to medium and the lag started going down. o.O

I did this too, it did not help initially. It "seems" to be helping now but I still contend it's an issue on the server side that has gradually alleviated over the hours...maybe an overall server density issue, no idea honestly.

Game basically became unplayable for me 2-3 days ago. Sad too because not only did I pay for the EA/lucent, it was my favorite game. I'm wired to ethernet, lowered all my settings, updated drivers and researched game settings and specific TnL settings. The clunky movement was already weird during EA but believed they would continue to work on it and now it's just unplayable. Chat seems to be the only thing responding without delay. Towns are laggy, interactions are delayed, combat is even worse than before or spells don't register/lag, movement = constant rubber banding in dungeons, grapping/morphing = don't bother.

157 fps for the first 200 hrs played. Smooth as butter. Last 48 hours it has been unplayable. Like a bad time lapse experience. Not sure why some of us are affected and others not. I'm running AMD 7900 XT. Any of you on the the AMD platform also feeling the pain?

I've tested latency and internet speed/connectivity with various different methods (Task Manager, Speedtest, Pingplotter, etc.). I've also tried many different games, and the conclusion is this 'rubber-banding' / lag is only happneing in T&L. And it has been getting worse the last couple days, sometimes it's playable but annoying, rubber-banding only 0.5-1 seconds. Tonight it was literally unplayable. Lagging so bad I couldn't even move, ruber-banding 6-10 seconds, etc. I don't know what they did but they need to rollback or fix the issue ASAP.

I played yesterday but game was freezing every minute for a long time. Today I login and game is unplayable. Every other game on my pc is fine but Throne and Liberty is unresponsive in game. Everything is rubberbanding, can't interact with npc and can't teleport. Game is unplayable. Need updates asap. :(

Happening to me for like 2-3 days now. During the launch with billions of people playing I had 0 issues with lags up until like 3 days ago. Now I get freezes for like 1-5 seconds and fast forward afterwards and I just hope I don't die during those 5 seconds.
Today I had like 6 disconnects during couple of hours play.

It might be my ISP as well I cannot know for sure. If that's the case, not sure what I can do about it, can't really change one. And calling a support who will read from the script is a waste of time.

Essentially I just need to hope that it's a very temporary fault, whoever is at blame TL or my ISP.

It's the Amazon servers the game is running on. Same happened in NW, Lost Ark as well. Amazon knows how to run business servers. They don't have a clue how to operate gaming servers.

i have issues since saturday , disconnected when entering or leaving a dungeon , then try to reco , 2 or 3 times and same loop again ... till it works .
