If you're coming from WoW, ESO, FF14, turn around xd
Theres 6 different level 50 dungeons, world bosses with pve and pvp modes, boonstone battles (pvp), castle siege (pvp), open dungeon farming, and fishing
I mean, I'm at 3.3k+ and I didn't pay a single penny.
And we are #1 and about to take Stonegard in the first seige.
This pretty much, no player housing for decoration or a comprehensive crafting and gathering system. There are no side activities like sailing or hunting, making it feel quite bland in its current state.
(I come from Escape from Tarkov so Ruble grinding or flea market/Auction House stuff appeals to me heavy.)
Yet grinding gear is just so fun and rewarding as well. I would honestly Play two characters grind lucent, and have fun if that's your thing. That way you aren't time gated to 3 dungeons a day, I have never hit zero on my Dimensional or Abyssal tokens and sitting fully geared on my main and my alt is chilling collecting lucent and extra tokens for when I want to run some extra content. The end game sure can be repetitive but at least you sign on everyday knowing exactly what you need and want to do and I like that. Structure is key and I think people don't know how to save up or manage their tokens to the point they just burn them the first day or the first 20 minutes of farming something. Daily World bosses spawn, plenty of open world events and of course lots of PvP if that is your thing! Join a guild, meet some people, and have fun. That's what MMO's are about, finding something within the game that you enjoy personally, screw what other people say, everyone is so quick to cancel games now days due to low attention spans or it not living up to games that have been out for over a decade. Make what you want of it and just play something you enjoy, if this is it than awesome! If not then that's okay too!
I highly disagree with there being too much to do. I do agree, tho, that MMOs are about finding your own niche. The problem lies in the game's systems, like the dailies and open world bosses, which are primarily focused on gearing up. To find your niche, the game needs to introduce side activities and systems that serve different purposes which it currently lacks.
You are correct that these elements have been a standard in the genre for over a decade, which makes this game feel bland in comparison. It’s not about canceling the game or wanting it to fail. It's about raising these concerns in hopes of being heard, so we can ensure its longevity and enjoy it more.
