- Trying to get into the top 20 of the Solo secret dungeons ( Gate of Infinity )
- Finding EVERY collectible page WITHOUT INTERACTIVE MAP showing me
- Trying to finish out the Litography Book with farming the items instead of buying them
- Seeing how far up i can climb on the biggest mountain
- Making great screenshots
- Petting every animal i see
- Trying to find all the White Crows who are usually in fking random places
- Going to watch zerg PVP outside of the zone cus its funny
- Trying to get into the locked zone north only to hear NPC-s talk about an invisible wall :D
- Trying to get all the animal morphs and amitois that are not dungeon drop tied (or all :D)
- Going to open world events or bosses not for the item drops but for tokens
- Spending an hour crafting and selling ♥♥♥♥
- Trying to complete Exploration Codex
- Playing hide and seek with Guild members
- Pretending to be the wall on a zerg PVP boss event and laughing at the chaos
- Constantly getting stuck on what the fk i actually want to do cus THERE IS SO MANY THINGS
IDK you guys just have never played a game or can't enjoy ♥♥♥♥ for what it is.
ITS A GAME . You don't have to be first or the best to fking enjoy a game.
Be creative chill a bit stop sweating about dungeons and drops and ♥♥♥♥ for a second and the game is fking awesome.
Instead if whining when something doesn't drop spend time playing the game and just CHILL and it will come to you.
I'm a 100% free to play player , got 10k lucent from here and there bought both battle passes and skins and ♥♥♥♥ and just having fun. I don't have all my BIS cus i don't spend all the curreny i got on buying them. I got skins so i can look like a witch cus its halloween.
I play the game for what it is. A FKING GAME.
I understand where you're coming from, and I think my earlier wording wasn’t clear. It seems we share similar viewpoints. My goal isn’t to chase the best gear or to climb any leaderboards.
What I was criticizing were the aspects of the game that feel underdeveloped, like the lack of housing and meaningful life skills. These elements would allow players to enjoy the game in a more relaxed manner, providing a break from the typical grind.
The issue is that the game doesn’t offer much in terms of varied activities. While playing hide and seek with your guild or hunting for all the lithography books can be entertaining i gues, it feels like a rather desperate attempt at occupational therapy rather than a genuine alternative the game itself provides.
I just wish there was something beyond gear progression and PvP that was more developed. It would be nice to see some effort put into less competitive systems. While a well-designed crafting system can also be competitive, having additional options would provide a break from the daily predefined activities, which focuses solely on gear and tends to get old quickly.
My guy, the game is barely out for a month. Also we are seriously behind in content for the official Korean version. There will be a huge area up north that will be comming after the Milestone progression for the Servers ended and we basically finished the STORY so far.
We basically have LESS than HALF of the game yet. Korean version have more systems and many more higher level dungeons stuff to do etc.
.... Literally everyone is impatient nowdays . You guys won't even look at the roadmaps the game devs put out ... The game is barely 30 days out ... 30 DAYS i say again. The devs already said they pushed the events to happen faster than the Koreans had them when the game came out there cus ppl are fking impatient
Dunno go play something else if you can't seem to wait until the story milestones will be over and we get the new zone 50-55 and all the new stuff to do before. Atleast two more crafting systems are said to come too and 2 star and 3 star dungeons etc i don't know all the details.
Meanwhile ill be in the chaotic zerg Castle Siege event whichs is like in a few days where the Top 1 guild will be vs the whole server fighting over the millions of collected tax gold and thousands of tax lucent we have been paying to the game in every npc / auction transaction.
Maybe wait a bit for real and let the game mature a bit before you decide that there are none / WONT even be stuff to do in a few days / weeks.
While it’s true that things are always being developed and improved in MMOs, I want to focus on the current state of the game that we have. Even for a "new" release, it lacks features that have been a standard in the genre for over a decade.
This observation isn’t about impatience; it’s about recognizing the lack of attention to what are now fundamental aspects of MMOs. Just because some issues are listed on a roadmap doesn't mean they don’t exist right now.
Following that logic, complaints about Fallout 76 at launch wouldn’t have been valid because roadmaps were provided early on (I understand that we are far from the disastrous state of my Fallout 76 example, but it highlights the logical implications of your statement).
