Make party vote kick unanimous
People kick others way too easy, and often it's the person failing blaming someone else.
I also prefer to explain instead of kicking people right away.

I feel like if you knew what the word meant you'd realise why it wouldn't work.
Majority kick should be fine.

Why? obviously it doesn't include the person being voted out.. but everyone who gets to vote.
And seen it often enough already, one dude doesn't open the gate at shaikal.. tank dies, then tank gets kicked, by the dude who was standing next to the gate and didn't open it.
It's just dumb.. if someone is really that bad, we'll all agree to kick him.

A lot of people seem to have no clue what's going on and just press yes to kick anyone.. even if that person didn't do anything wrong.

Then add em to trhe feud list an never play a dungeon with them, again.

And they will run out of tanks soon.

I've seen some ridiculous kicks. A person kept saying someone was afk, when they were right next to us playing, proposed a kick and somehow that passed. This was one of the more sensible ones. I've seen kicks that do not even begin to makes sense, ones I can only explain as misclicks, yet those passed too. I've only seen a single failed kick attempt. People don't even know who is whom, yet they press "yes", or close the window.

Agree it's toxic. We had yesterday a guy before the boss and my guild mates wanted to invite someone from the guild, but instead of finishing the boss and doing the 5minutes again, they kicked the guy and i felt so bad..
He only said "why?" and I've not felt that bad for a random person in years..
I told them it was an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move, but 2 of them are stupid..the other two were also upset..
You should not be able to just kick before the boss, so easily..
If the guy stands in the chamber with you, he should not be able to be kicked, if he is afk or up there are doing nothing sure.
But i can't get behind a better system atm, it could also be abused or people just dont do ♥♥♥♥ or mechanics and you cannot kick him..
But the amount of times i saw people get kicked for no reason is way too high..

Ever since random matchmaking became the norm i forgot that party owners from party board can just kick anyone instantly during a run. that should probably be removed and be vote kick only

It's not me who gets kicked, only happened once and that felt more like a relief.
But seen a bunch of party members get kicked for no reason, or bad reasons.
And sadly there won't be enough room on my block list to block every .... in this game

Yeah it's really lame wasting peoples time like that.
Only voted yes once, and that's cause i was trying to explain a tank what to do and he kept rushing into the boss and failing mechs.
Beside that i don't see a reason to kick people, as long as they trying/listening.

Not like i expected you to see any issues with any system in this game, we all know you work for Amazon and try to defend the most ridiculous things in this game.

The fact that you can kick at all is a blessing, since as you pointed out, humans suck. Far too many games have such options disabled entirely to try for a fair approach but it just leads to toxicity. You might think it's bad to allow people to remove someone from a party too, but forcing people to play with someone they don't want to be around is worse. Any system will be abused, and no system at all will be abused too. But the present system causes the least harm. Just don't join random parties if you don't want to randomly lose your spot. Back in the old MMO days, we added people to our friend list and invited them to do a dungeon again if they meshed well with us instead of this matchmaking or random party board crap. If you'd rather take a risk on unknowns for time efficiency, it comes with risks.
