The perfect system to me until now was:
- loot drops to guild (obviously requires a bit of trust)
- if you do worldboss etc. alone = your loot
- guild raids = ppl that participate in the raid can roll for items their char actually needs
-- in general if you got 1 item from a raid you cant roll for a second one except no one needs the item or ppl agree etc.
- items not needed stay in the guild for a while if someone else needs it
- the only requirement to be able to loot is a minimum of guild reputation (very low but enough to make sure ppl dont just leech)
Your system sounds like a system with the primary focus of making members play as much and guild focused as possible while also not really caring about gearing but more about getting money. Im looking for a fun game with fun ppl - not a second job so thats not for me.
I dont see a real issue with it as long as they are open about it and dont change rules on the fly.
The only thing i would agree to is to make a few changes:
- drop rules etc. are visible when you join
- changing drop rules has a cooldown outside of guild raids and players get notified
But in the end - look for a guild with ppl you like - after that its easy to agree on rules. Why would you go into a guild where you dislike ppl or ppl are just using you in the first place?
