PVP ZONE

Anyone know why when i enter a PVP open world boss fight and i target an enemy and i cannot use any attacks on them yet they can attack me and i cannot even attack them back. this is probably the most frustrating thing, and ik theres a pvp invulnerable state after you enter but even after 10 seconds or so i still cannot attack anyone but im being attacked

u gotta flag urself before u can hit people with aoe attacks, meaning u have to auto attack or hit someone with a basic ability like for example the lightning skills from the staff or strafing from bow. if u start with a flashwave u wont hit anyone. kinda stupid since its a pvp area so there shouldnt be a need to flag urself to confirm u wanna do pvp, especially when other people hit u anyways after a few seconds, but thats how it is lol.
if thats not the case u prolly just unlucky and trying to attack someone who just entered pvp zone

yea i target an enemy, and i try to use strafing and it says i cannot attack this player, yet im being attacked still, makes no sense, and ik its a hostile guild because of a red marker ofc not a friendly
