What a non-sense. The simplest and most forward fix would be, disable the checkbox to remove hostile guilds from auto and tab targeting.
That way the feature would turn against the mega-zergs AND help the people fighting mega-zergs by allowing them only to attack these while not allow abuse of the exploiters.
It would literally been 2 line of codes to do that, rather than removing it alltogether
