I cant unlock my Bait and therefore cant fish

When i try to fish, it says 'Cannot fish. Bait not equipped'. I found a Reddit Thread where the solution was that you can't use bait when you locked it in your inventory to avoid losing it, as using it would apparently count as losing.
My problem now is that I can't unlock my bait, when I press unlock nothing happens. I even put my bait into storage and bought new ones, but they are locked as well.
Now I suppose I could still use worms, but they are kinda hard to get in masses.
Let me know if you have the sam problem or if you have an idea how to solve it.

You should try and post a video of your bug so it can be visualized. I dont know what else to say or suggest to help you.

Same problem, locked it trying to stop it from getting tossed in storage when I was on a gearset which didn't have it equipped and now I can't unlock it. No matter what you do the bait in inventory displays the padlock icon in the lower left. Left clicking to select shows "Unlock" in the item menu, but it does nothing. Made sure the bait's unequipped on all three gear sets, still nothing.

Presuming you're talking about the paste bait (from the contract rewards, what I'd locked) you can use stuff that you find from gathering like worms or dissolving fish for fish bait. Works, but will be slower.

Yes, I've swapped to Fish Fillet Bait for now, since even newly bought Paste Bait is also locked. But It's painful to use those instead of the 50 Daily Paste Bait, since I need quite a lot of fish for my best food buff, but there doesn't seem to be any other solution for now.
