Enhancing In-Game Skins and Customization: Suggestions for Future Updates
From my perspective, the in-game skins aren't very appealing. Based on what I've seen online, the Santa Claus costumes in the upcoming December Christmas update seem predictable but acceptable. However, they could be more interesting with an MMORPG twist. For example, Santa costumes for both male and female characters could have battle-worn designs, like claw marks and torn parts, reflecting the fighter nature of the game—something that feels more like a Santa meets Witcher style.

As for the carrot weapons and rabbit outfits, many, including myself, feel they don’t fit the game’s tone. They feel childish and break the immersion, as Throne and Liberty is focused on warriors and mages battling for glory, not silly costumes.

I suggest adding armor and weapon skins inspired by real-world history and warfare, while also including anime, sci-fi, and cyborg themes. With AI technology, there’s endless potential for unique designs.

It would also be great if skins were always available in the cosmetic shop, but at a price increase after their initial release—say 900-1100 Lucent for armor skins and 600 Lucent for weapons, and then 1500 and 900 Lucent, respectively, after that.

Another idea is to have skins drop from world bosses or rare open-world bosses, adding more to chase in the game. A transmog system would also be welcome, allowing players to use the look of armor and weapons they've already collected as skins. To balance this, it could be locked behind a Lucent paywall, such as 100 Lucent per transmog.

Looking forward to hearing the community’s thoughts on these ideas!

Best regards!

You said all that about immersion breaking and childish skins, but you want anime, sci-fi cyborgs? Hope you can see how funny that is.

There is a reason skins are time-limited in every game. People buy them when they otherwise wouldn't since they will run out.

Skins from bosses would also just tank their sales.

None of these will happen in a F2P sadly
