Tier 2 Dungeons are bad
Sorry but these dungeons are a bad idea:

1) most casuals will never even reach that gearscore in a reasonable ammount of time
2) ppl can join when they get 2500 GS which is not enough
3) the mechanics (timing) are too unforgiving (especially with all the lags and bugs)
4) the loot isnt nearly interresting enough for the time and effort spent

In general these dungeons may would be nice if the game was running well - but with all the server issues, lag, and bugs its just really annoying. And combined with more casual players a dungeon where you have to perfectly time mechanics while having laggs aswell just is awful.


Its already annoying in Tier 1 - for example the rat part where you sometimes die to the AOE even when your underground. But its okay since its not so bad that you cant compensate. Tier 2 on the otherhand arent - and there is nothing more annoying than dying because you had a lag, a jump didnt register etc.

TLDR:
- unforgiving dungeon mechancs simply are awful when the game isnt running flawlessly

Also Tier2 Dungeons probably at this point are too hard for random groups without communication - maybe if the game becomes more stable and servers better it would work - but as of now it doesnt.

the only gripe I have with the dungeons is the colour memorization minigame, you cannot get all the colours on your screen making it harder than it needs to be

1) Easy to reach even for f2p.
2) It´s enough to do the bosses, you just have to play properly and shouldn´t make much mistakes.
3) The mechanics ARE STILL TOO EASY to some degree. We need more of such content to keep PvE fresh and engaging!
4) The experience matters more than loot in games. Just look at the pointless and braindead T1 dungeons.... you get loot for pretty much wasted time, because they´re boring af.

2.5k is too little i agree, we had someone with 5.9k hp running valley yesterday. Obviously he died 20 seconds in an we had to carry as 5. These people will start getting kicked right away and its devs fault for letting them in.

Ncsoft used same thing in their old games Aion and Blade and Soul, both games died because the ppl was not able to complete their stupid dungeons

The ppl wants to join dungeons, long dungeons to kill diferent boses with no mechanics and mathematics and recive rewards from mobs aswel, in the end the ppl spend from their free time, noone will waste time in such complicated dungeons where if one player dont know mechanics, all team will wipe

GuildWars 1 dungeons were the best, u were enjoing doing dungeons

for M+ and mythic-raid WoW players T2 is easy. But for players without this background its really hard. Thats true

And it does not help the fact that some of the bosses are buggy, for instance in Terror he can stun you out of the rat phase meaning there is no chance you can survive.

I only have to get one more item then like butcher's canyon I will park it until people get better.

not quite, cause with karnix we started with the lowest gear. Here, even when close to the current T1 ceiling it can still take a while/be deadly. Theres almost no more room for significant improvement until T2.

The main issue is the insane HP bloat on the bosses. Those fights take forever even with geared groups and the question is why?
The mechanics aren't too bad in general but why do you need to do them for 10 minutes over and over and over?
The longer the fight drags on, the more mistakes people commit and start dying, which then just snowballs and causes a wipe. It simply isn't fun or engaging, it's tiresome and boring.
The 2500 score requirement is absolutely mental too. Doing those dungeons even at 3000 is a big stretch.
It almost feels as if those dungeons were added as punishment for people who aren't monopolizing world bosses, and world bosses are target dummies in comparison.

my issue is the the gameplay is sometimes not smooth when you need it to be in key situations ie boss mechanics, stupid jumpin, diggin as a rat etc, lag pc stuttertin happens all the time because of this game. I get yelled at im like dam its not me its this stupid game lol

Everything i find sells for 10 lucent on AH if they ever sell (looking at the daggers thats sitting in AH for two weeks with crit chance), one of my weapon traits cost 325 lucent. I can make a small purchase to benefit both me and developers but i'll never get enough gs to beat those dungeons and most likely will get kicked on sight.

Couldn't agree more. HP needs lowering. Mechs are fine but playing perfect for over 10mins without a mistake is not fun at all for a, most likely, rare reward.

FFXI has insane mechanics in dungeons and is fine with PUGs never hear endless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like I do on here.

This. the dungeons are fine, they are not that hard. People just need to learn how to freaking parry/block instead of getting 1shotted by it.

Mechanics can be learnt with a bit of try or a couple of videos on youtube.

Fact is.. if you refuse to learn and clearly are dieing for mechanics you are not doing even tought you got bashed in the face 12 times already, you deserve to be kicked.
