wich is main hand an wich is off hand

i see somthin that says main weapon but it also a better tieer weapon so wich is main hand i it the top slightly bigger box undnder character info or is it the first smaller looking icon undeer character info

reason being as when looking at skills the mtop skill to slot 1-6 is the wand in my case but yet under the gear tab it says the crossbow is main but yet under skills crossbow slots in powers 7-12

Main Weapon is which ever one you are actively auto attacking with. Pressing "Y" will switch the weapon you are using. It matters for the Weapon Mastery, base dmg as they are only from weapon you are using.
