Developers hate crossbow/dagger

If you’re just starting and considering using a crossbow, don’t. This game hates crossbows. Almost every class hard counters the crossbow/dagger build. Trust me, I’m fully geared with a Bellandir crossbow, 3500+ GS, and over 600 hours of gameplay. They’ve done everything to make the crossbow the worst class possible.

Instead, pick staff/dagger, bow/dagger, or staff/bow. These combinations are better at everything and more effective against all opponents, even tanks. If you encounter a bow user, just run—they become nearly immortal due to their shield passive (the weakened status triggers their shield). Although the shield has a low activation chance, the crossbow fires at least 10 weakened shots per second, making it a huge disadvantage.

Tanks have a skill that reflects your shots and can instantly kill you. Staff users can one-shot you with Fireball if you don’t dodge with Q, as you have the lowest HP in the game. Greatsword users will one-shot you, as usual. Spinning is also useless in the late game because everyone stacks evasion, and bow passives counter it further.

So, don’t even think about starting with this class.

last night i connected on korean server in each guild probably 10 people playing xbow/dagger or xbow/bow checked all guilds to see what they playing alot of them playing xbow/bow but why dont know probably pve for pvp i dont think they are good

Its fking strong on single target. But I assure you that in pvp you won't have any single target. It's a zerg game and at that point your class will be useless except for making a bomb squad. Go in and die. And do it over and over

on my server in top 10 pvp is only 2 peoples without dagger combined with anything....most dagger/crossbow and dagger/bow

bow passive needs to be removed urgently so that crossbows can do damage

@OP crossbow/dagger is one of the most overpowered dps builds in the game. What are you talking about? Either you need to seriously improve your skills or you doing something terribly wrong.
