Developers hate crossbow/dagger

If you’re just starting and considering using a crossbow, don’t. This game hates crossbows. Almost every class hard counters the crossbow/dagger build. Trust me, I’m fully geared with a Bellandir crossbow, 3500+ GS, and over 600 hours of gameplay. They’ve done everything to make the crossbow the worst class possible.

Instead, pick staff/dagger, bow/dagger, or staff/bow. These combinations are better at everything and more effective against all opponents, even tanks. If you encounter a bow user, just run—they become nearly immortal due to their shield passive (the weakened status triggers their shield). Although the shield has a low activation chance, the crossbow fires at least 10 weakened shots per second, making it a huge disadvantage.

Tanks have a skill that reflects your shots and can instantly kill you. Staff users can one-shot you with Fireball if you don’t dodge with Q, as you have the lowest HP in the game. Greatsword users will one-shot you, as usual. Spinning is also useless in the late game because everyone stacks evasion, and bow passives counter it further.

So, don’t even think about starting with this class.

I'm not crossbow/dagger user but yeah i'm agree with you. this game need a lot balanced system for pvp.

I switched away from xbow/dagger because its realy realy bad at large scale pvp. Pve is good but who cares pve :D

Tanks are your natural hard counter, so is GS. You are supposed to be building magic+ranged evasion, so that you can jump into the backline, destroy Staff users and jump out. Your dps is insane.

In the future when bow shield is nerfed (already nerfed in KR), you will do the same thing to Bow users too. Until the nerf to bow shield happens, you are not supposed to be using Bellendir Crossbow or any weaken abilities.

actual skill issue, dagger/crossbow is one of the best classes in pvp and pve outside of 1v1s where they're just average-ish

Crossbow daggers is the worst class in pvp, anyone can counter you. I'm in the top 10 on my server in terms of eliminations and I reached it hard. And you talk to me about pve but who cares about that. This is a pvp game

Its fking strong on single target. But I assure you that in pvp you won't have any single target. It's a zerg game and at that point your class will be useless except for making a bomb squad. Go in and die. And do it over and over
