Gearing up for what?
So? Now that I've almost finished equipping my character, what should I do with this gear? Where's the PvP?
The arenas are horrible and give no rewards, there are no battlegrounds, there's only world PvP, which to me isn't real PvP. If you find satisfaction in teaming up with your guild, fully equipped, to kill casual players who are leveling, you're probably 12 years old, or you simply don't know how to play, otherwise you wouldn't need to group up to feel stronger than others.
Now I need to finish completing the traits, and the only thing I can do is PvE to get pieces I don’t need, sell them, and then be able to buy the PvP ones I actually need, which is boring, but I’d still do it if there was real competitive PvP at the end, but there isn't.
Let's talk about the arenas. There are only two arenas: one is circular, where you can’t zoom out too much or you won’t be able to see anything because the outer walls block your view. The "square" one is much more decent, but there's one horrible thing in both arenas—the reflections and the white on the ground, which are really annoying. In the square arena, you can’t even tell when there's water or not, it's impossible to see.
The main question is: am I just equipping myself to wait for new gear to be released and start all over again? Are battlegrounds or new arenas planned?

What audience? I'm not a streamer.
Anyway, I just said what I think, for me World PvP is boring.

Might find more pleasure playing in and for a guild, and doing guild related activities.
Any game is better played with some like minded peeps.

Agreed aswell, stopped the game almost 2 weeks ago after I did some large scale PvP with my guild and it was not fun at all, like, we were fighting for hours but there is no goal ? I didn't win anything and my guild neither so, what's the point ?

People will talk about we don't need to win anything to have fun but the PvP is clunky af, long CC chains where you can barely do something is not what I call something fun

I’ve played WoW for years and I’ve never really done PvE unless it was required. For me, it’s always been boring – killing mobs by spamming spells is boring, killing bosses is boring.
I wish I could just focus on PvP and get rewards for my gear, learn the game mechanics against other players, and gear up. But that’s not possible here. You have to do PvE to get PvP gear. Okay, I can deal with that – I’ll do all these boring things I don’t want to do, wasting time spamming spells against random mobs and not learning anything about PvP. Fine, I can deal with that. But after doing all of that, what do I get as a reward? Two crappy, unplayable arenas?
At least some battlegrounds where I could actually learn how to do PvP – but no, there’s nothing to do once you’ve done ONLY PvE to gear up, apart from two clearly unplayable arenas.

The endgame is preventing other players from getting loot. It's petty.

Lmao large scale pvp is not PVP , it's just one big blob and a constant spam of flash waves that have no counter towards them how can you call that "great tactics"?

Thanks for the laugh.

Yeah I agree with the OP. I got to level 50 and ran dungeons 20 or so times and it got repetitive, and then I saw some video on the PVP and tried arenas, and nah. It just doesn't seem worth the repetitiveness of PvE to play a couple of arena matches equally with others. I will come back if they add more pvp content.

There is nothing "after gearing up"

The content and game is made in a way to make the upgrading as out-drawn as possible and this is all there is to the game.

Just hunt the carrot on the stick, but after you get the carrot there's nothing else.

But to be fair, most games are like that.

If you somehow manage to reach the highest ilvl in World of warcraft, there's nothing left to strive for there either.

I’m not sure how WoW is now, but when I used to play, you could do Battlegrounds and Arenas, and earn points to buy gear while also improving your PvP skills. Once you were fully geared, you could start seriously ranking in Arena, which is what players like me are really in it for

What audience? I'm not a streamer.

Pardon me if i'm wrong, but isn't the TV at the end of the name usually to indicate to others that you're a twitch streamer?

Yes, I used to stream in the past, but only for fun and occasionally. I kept the name like that because I don't feel like changing it

Anybody who honestly think this games Large Scale PVP is any good has honestly never played a real large scale PVP game.

T&L is nothing more then a Zerg Blob of players all smashing their AOE....

True Large Scale PVP comes from games like Dark Ages of Camelot or Star Wars Galaxies....
They literally DO NOT MAKE good large scale PVP games anymore.

if you know..... you know.,

What we currently have in the game for Large Scale PVP is all a joke, no thought or effort put into any of the design for any of the guild v guild content.

Things like warping back to town instead of a designated local graveyard for GvG events etc etc.... the entire process is a sloppy mess and completely needs to be revamped to feel more like a GvG Battleground.

The only saving grace this game has for Large Scale PVP will be this upcoming Tax event.... but seeing as on my server the Top 4 Guilds are all just ONE LARGE Korean Transplant guild..... we can assume they will game the system and abuse the massive payout..... breaking the economy and balance of this game at launch.

Just keep this in mind..... I would say about 80% of the current player base will ALL be gone in a few months, and an entire new wave of players will come in...... this game will hit a drought of players, then slowly trickle back to a norm.

You forgot to mention what "almost finished equipping my character" means. Like what gear, what is your total gear score?

I highly doubt you have all the end gear fully traited out. I could be wrong,..
