What other MMO's you play and why?

Just curious about it. Would like to from which popular MMO's players mostly come to Throne and Liberty?

I personally didn't have MMO which I play often as this (I play Warframe but I don't know if that counts as standard MMO).

Tried Lost Ark, BDO and GW2, nothing kept me for long as this game so far

Last mmo i've played was Lost ark, around 3k hours played. Was just playing seasonal games like D4 and PoE while waiting for TnL

As a mostly solo player (not pure solo, I don't mind matchmaking or going in group when needed), the three that kept me the longest were GW2, FFXIV and The Division 2, in that order.

Loved the narratives and the progression in both GW2 and FFXIV, fell in love with the Charr, the Raptor and the Skyscale design-wise. The endgame however didn't feel compelling enough to me in neither, so unless new story content comes out, It's been pretty on and off.

The Division 2, as much as people want to trash Ubisoft (and I agree with them, Ubisoft is trash), I feel they have done a really good job with the shooting, the feeling of gear progression, the exotics, the weekly events and the Manhunts. The story and the background narratives keep me invested despite the overall quality of the game going down since... I'd say The Recruiter.
They really missed with the Descent activity too. I would have loved something like the Underground making a return from The Division 1 instead.
Also, the PvP sucks major ass. Just don't.

I was thinking recently about returning to WoW, I really enjoyed making my own builds with the new skill trees since Dragonflight, and dragon riding was fun too. I have yet to explore every class there in fact. I loved the Pandaria Remix event! So many gems to have fun with! But the storyline since Shadowlands has been...honestly, lackluster?

Lost Ark... Couldn't even complete the campaign on my first character, it was just so mind-numbingly boring and generic. The combat felt really good, but that alone doesn't keep me interested for long.

T&L, I genuinely enjoy the gameplay and combat (I play a tank...unfortunately for me), but everything surrounding it feels either half baked, exploitable or designed specifically with the real money auction house in mind. So right now, I feel it's in the same position as LA.

TESO, I can't play it. The quests, the stories, they're great! The combat though... Urgh.

If only there was a way to have a Tera remaster or something...
No other MMO has ever made me feel anything close to what that game's combat made me feel.
Playing as a Lancer and soloing BAMs felt so f'ing awesome. Going into Argon raids and rifts as a main tank...
Knowing when to block, when to attack, shielding your team, bashing your shield in a massive spider or wyvern's face, knowing that as a tank, if you failed to play properly you could just die and make your group wipe... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was good.
It is the only game that made me want to play it for the combat alone.
Imo, nothing has ever come close to Tera, nothing on on the current market does, and I honestly doubt something ever will.


Nowadays... I'm mostly in The Division 2 despite its many flaws and playing T&L with friends.
Might come back to WoW soon. We'll see.

If I had to recommend any, I'd go with GW2 even if it is quite old school, then WoW or FFXIV, depending on what you favor between combat and story.
I'd love to recommend TD2, but considering how Ubisoft is currently doing overall and the quality of the content released going down as time goes on, I'm not sure I really can. The game itself is great imo, but unfortunately, the company isn't.

why i stopped playing the games:

gw2 because i missed living stories and had no motivation to keep playing. after some years i bought 2 expansions, but never played them.

ff14 i had nothing left to do beside lv up all classes.

bdo my pc broke and for years i had no money to buy a new one.

eso i coulnd play because of bad connection to the server. always got dcs

swtor i got bored of it, after i played with 16 characters the same story over and over.

nw i think there was no content lefft. same now with tnl.
